I am going to cover the topic about how to buy a guitar and which guitar is good and all, but firstly, since you have reached this blog, most probably you have already bought a guitar!
So you might have noticed that you simply cant play it! Those strings wont press down and it does hurt a lot doesn't it? The simple and plain thing is, yes it will! But don't worry, it will only take a single day before you can easily play the stings on the guitar. A simple exercise just to get you accustomed to the guitar, heres what to do :
Press and hold the first string on the first fret (that is the nearest column from the neck down) and then play it. The most Important part is that there should be no buzzing or awkward sound. The sound should be clear. You Will know the difference yourself.
Now do the same with all the six strings: hold the first fret and then play. Remember that the basics are the most important things, so take extra care that you get them right!
